❖ About Kawasaki Kokusai Ikuta-Ryokuchi Golf Course

川崎国際生田緑地ゴルフ場は、1952年に多摩丘陵に作られた歴史あるパブリックコース。

川崎市が管理する生田緑地内にあり川崎市の第三セクターが運営していましたが、2013年から東急ゴルフリゾートに運営を委託しています。

クラブハウスは2013年に新築され同年10月に営業を開始しました。その後、隣接の旧クラブハウスは取り壊されました。　 跡地には2017年4月1日に「生田緑地西口展望広場」が開園しました。

年に数回「市民開放日」があり、一般向けに広場としてコースが無料開放されています。
当日はコース内でこどもも楽しめる催し物が開催されます。春には各所に植えられた桜の花を楽しむこともできます。
ゴルフをしない人にとっては、コース内にある滝沢池（かつての「初山の池」）の周りを散策できる少ない機会です。

 

Kawasaki Kokusai(int'l) Ikuta-Ryokuchi Golf Course is a historic public course opened in 1952 in Tama hills.

The course is in Ikuta-Ryokuchi (green park,) which is kept by the local government of Kawasaki city. And the course had been run by the third sector of the city. Beginning from 2013 it was outsourced to Tokyu Golf Resort company.

A new clubhouse was built in 2013 and opened in October 2013. Later the former clubhouse on the adjacent lot was demolished. A new park "Ikuta-Ryokuchi West gate Observation Park" was built on the site and opened on April 1, 2017.

The course is opened to the public as "Citizen's day" several times a year.
In the days, some events are held in the course for the people including kids.
In spring, people can enjoy cherry blossoms blooming at many places in the field.
For the people who do not play golf, this is the only chance to take a walk around Takizawa-ike pond right in the center of the area.
